Se il maiale muore poi rinasce (eng: Death and rebirth of a pig)

With the arrival of the new year comes an ancient rite: the killing of a pig. But the pig does not die. It undergoes a transformation and is resurrected – as food, giving new life to those that consume it, bringing another year of prosperity.

A magical ceremony, handed down through generations, that is slowly disappearing from Italy.
